Our mission is to improve the quality of life for citizens in the local community. Our aim is to educate citizens and eradicate the myths of mental illness, aid those plagued by the illness and preserve the quality of life for individuals who suffer silently. In addition, we organize charitable efforts and activities to provide in-kind donations and holiday toys and gifts to children and families within our community. Throughout the years, we have been successful through the funds we have raised, thanks to our generous supporters and sponsors.
The Robert Parker Foundation mobilizes communities around the city to open Mental Health Awareness, conversations and opportunites to get the help that is needed. Through our network, The Robert Parker Foundation connects partners, donors, volunteers, and community leaders to tackle the stigma related to Mental Health Issues while making a positive impact in the lives of those affected by mental health issues as well as their families.
Established in 2015 after the untimely death of the former Director of the Miami-Dade Police Department Robert Parker, Sr. The foundation was formed to leave a legacy of a great man who “Stood Tall for the Powerless”.
